“I approached Ms Tifeny because I was in need of a math tutor to improve my math skills and to prepare me for my Mathematics and Additional Mathematics IGCSE exam in 2015. She has been teaching me for over two years. Punctuality, time management and the flexibility of her schedule have always met my expectations. Her commitment to the tuition is exceptional; as exams were nearing, she made sure that I was receiving extra classes so that I was ready, confident with answering the questions, and as prepared as I could be. Tutoring was straightforward, clear and easy to understand. When starting a new topic, she would demonstrate how to solve the question with the aid of many examples. When I did not know how to answer a question, she would guide me along the methods to approach a question and explain where I went wrong. She would advise me to attempt past year questions so I can get the gist of answering exam-style questions. She is very experienced and I found her guidance to be interesting and helpful. I was given a variety of questions from different sources and not just from the textbook so I can be exposed to various types of questions. Ample homework was set after each class to be completed and returned the following class to be checked and marked. I was able to see my progress, and improvements throughout the year through countless practice questions, and learning from my mistakes and errors; from getting a C in my trial exams to finally achieving that A in my final exams. “Before i started tuition with Ms Tifeny in 2012, i was terrible at Maths and i hated it like most student do. I hated it so much that i didn’t bother studying it because i thought i wouldn’t improve anyway. However after seeing my brother Jeremy and sister Sonia improve tremendously in maths, i decided have Ms Tifeny tutor me as well.At first i wasn’t excited, but after our first class, i actually got more excited for the next class, because what Ms Tifeny was teaching actually make sense and i understood it! i was so happy i was finally able to do Math problems and get them right. Eventually, time passed and year 10 come along. I managed to score an A for IGCSE Add Maths (82) and A for Extended Math (88). I would definitely recommend Ms Tifeny for anyone struggling in Maths as she certainly helped me ACE it!!!”

“I had started my Year 10 with a very much non satisfactory type of grade for Math. To be specific, it was a C grade. At the time, I was genuinely worried as I would need to sit for my IGCSE exam in a year. So, I started asking the people around me if they knew of a good tutor. Ms Seng’s name came up and soon enough I started to have classes with her. My classes with Ms Seng were very productive, as every lesson was done in a somewhat systematic way. In every lesson, she would try to teach as much as she possibly could. And by the end of the lesson, I would always have a reasonable amount of work at hand to practice on. The work given will always be discussed in our next class. One thing that most definitely sets Ms Seng apart from the other tutors I’ve ever had is her great punctuality. She’s almost never ever late for our classes. Other than that, she has great patience and determination. When I didn’t understand something, she would always take the time to explain it all to me until I was crystal clear about everything. On a whole, she was a great tutor.
